Antonio Nemer


With over thirty years experience in international business development, Antonio Nemerís career has spanned more than seventy countries where he has served in executive positions in consumer packaged goods and professional health and beauty products. His ability to develop staff and increase sales and profitability has made him a sought-after leader for many posts around the globe.

A seasoned professional, Nemer has worked for such major players as H. J. Heinz, Colgate Palmolive and Revlon Professional. Included in his career were 15 years with Redken Laboratories, Inc. where he rose to Senior Vice President of International Marketing. He also served in posts around the world as general manager for Redken Laboratories Canada, Ltd, and then became Area Director of Europe, based in Frankfurt, Germany, where he was the youngest Area Director for Redken at that time. Nemer also spent 13 years with the Barcelona-based Colomer Group, a global beauty products company. During his tenure, he served in executive positions focused on international business development at its headquarters and, subsequently, at two of Colomerís subsidiaries: President of American Crew Worldwide in Denver, CO, and Vice President of International Sales of Creative Nail Design in Vista, CA.

Prior to his years in health and beauty, Nemer worked for H. J. Heinz in Mexico and Venezuela where he oversaw new product development for both countries. At Colgate-Palmolive in Mexico City, he served as Group Product Manager for Colgateís largest subsidiary in Latin America. Both of these positions gained invaluable experience for Tony and set the stage for what was to be a successful career in international business.

Nemerís years of managing people and teams have made him a leader in the industry for his high level of emotional quotient while achieving results with greatly motivated teams. His relationships with distributors around the world are based on his philosophy of mutual trust and respect. Regardless of country or nationality, he always achieves meaningful partnerships across a multitude of cultures.

Because of his diverse background and expertise in professional health and beauty, he has seamlessly integrated into the spa and wellness industry. At Red Cashew he is responsible for strategic planning, branding/marketing and retail development where his experience in international business development contributes to the companyís globalization initiatives.

Originally from Mexico City, Nemer has also lived and worked in Canada, Spain, Germany, Venezuela and the United States. He speaks five languages fluently and is conversational in German which brings a diverse cultural understanding to his work. He received his BA in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and his MBA in International Business from the University of the Americas in Mexico City. Currently, Nemer is based in the San Diego area where he and his wife Nancy maintain their office and studio.
