Antonio Nemer

Born in Michigan and raised in Florida, Lauren brings Red Cashew a great depth of knowledge and experience. With an honors BS in Interior Design from The Art Institute of California as well as an honors BS in Marketing from Florida State University her successful career has a proven track record. Both degrees make her an invaluable asset to Red Cashew with brand development and spa design as two of its cores.

Inspired to become an interior designer when managing the operations of a top producing Pottery Barn store, Lauren managed the operations of a store that generated $5 million a year in sales. Her responsibilities included executing corporate issued planograms, merchandising and managing inventory movement for both seasonal and non seasonal collections. This talent makes her retail acumen an exceptional skill when creating spa retail environments for Red Cashew.

Lauren’s interior design career has taken her from yacht design to health care, both of which provide invaluable experience when developing and designing spas. As a Project Coordinator for Marty Lowe, Inc. Yacht Design in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she executed projects primarily for the Bertram Yacht Group. She specified both standard and custom design packages, managed the purchasing and trouble shot final installations for yachts that were sold around the world. At Young and Company in San Diego, California, a company that specializes in health care design, Lauren drew on her experience in project documentation by taking a lead role in fabric selection and digital material board creation, FF&E notebook updates and LEED research.

A former track and field athlete who still maintains an extremely active lifestyle that includes running, yoga and the Cross Fit method of functional training, Lauren is extremely passionate about health and wellness, which makes her new career in the spa and wellness industry a perfect fit.

What Nancy says about Lauren
“Lauren is one of those rare people who have a well-rounded skill set that utilizes both the creative and analytical sides of the brain. She takes on everything she does with an open mind and open heart. I love that no challenge is too big for her, which is meaningful to me as a business owner because she really does not know the meaning of the words ‘it can’t be done’….clearly a sign of go-getter!”
